Hello. I'm Rebecca. I'm a writer, editor and teacher. I have a BA in French and Music and an MA in Creative Writing. I am an experienced editor and I've worked extensively on national magazines as a sub-editor. I am an avid reader with a passion for words and a keen eye for detail. I love literary fiction of all kinds, French cinema and all things gothic. My favourite authors include - but are not limited to - Shirley Jackson, M.R.James, Angela Carter, Maya Angelou, Toni Morrison, Daisy Johnson, Rosie Andrews, F Scott Fitzgerald, Hunter S. Thompson, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and Hilary Mantel. An eclectic mix.

I am happy to consider proofreading or copyediting for a range of projects, fiction, non-fiction, novels, short stories and articles. Alternatively, I can provide a reader report on your book. I also offer a translation service from French to English for fiction and non-fiction.

My prices are in line with CIEP guidelines and my turnaround times are reasonable. I am friendly and supportive and will polish up your copy to a high standard.
